CEO and Founder
Robb is the founder of Altus. He brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate. His background includes over 17 million square feet of development, acquisitions, and dispositions totaling over $1 billion.
Robb’s career encompasses serving as the General Manager for R.L. Johnson Investment Company (1990-1992), President of R.L. Johnson Company (1993-1997) and Senior Vice President of Duke Realty Corporation (1997-2001) prior to founding ALTUS.
Robb’s expertise is rooted in the acquisition, development and ownership of the 3.5 million square foot R.L. Johnson portfolio in Minneapolis, and the 9 million and 4 million square foot Duke industrial portfolios in Minneapolis and St. Louis. In less than two years, while leading the Duke office in Minneapolis, he grew the portfolio from 3.5 million to more than 8 million square feet.
Robb graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Communications and minoring in History. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the National Association of Realtors.
Sr. Managing Director
Peter is responsible for firm strategy and capitalization. He oversees all aspects of Altus strategy, operations and cultural alignment — with an emphasis on the financial elements.
Prior to joining Altus, Peter was at Panattoni Development Company, Inc., a leading international development company that develops and owns industrial, office and retail properties in more than 175 cities throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. While at Panattoni, Peter managed approximately $1 billion of assets across multiple markets, intimately involved with every facet of an asset’s lifecycle from acquisition, development, stabilization, asset management, and disposition.
Peter began his career in investment banking at Banc America Securities, LLC after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Economics and German. In addition, Peter holds an MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.
Managing Director, Operations
Kelly leads the day-to-day operations and management of Altus’ portfolio. She implements individual asset business plans through disciplined property management, financial reporting and analysis, lease administration, quality control functions, and strategic planning.
Kelly was formerly Senior Vice President, Principal for Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, responsible for the Real Estate Management Services Division for the St. Louis market. In this position, Kelly led the strategy and direction of a division which managed over 15 million square feet of third-party commercial product. This included supervision of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker’s various divisions including design, construction, engineering, brokerage, and management.
Kelly graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. She also has the designations of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Real Property Administrator (RPA). She is a past President of the St. Louis Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
Managing Director, Investments
Alex is responsible for the leadership of Altus’ equity investments, acquisitions, capitalizations and joint-venture structuring. Additionally, Alex shares leadership responsibility of the firm’s portfolio strategy and development endeavors. Prior to joining Altus, Alex was a management team member of Koch Development Co., responsible for the leadership of asset management, portfolio strategy and development activities across its retail, office and industrial portfolio located throughout the Midwest.
Alex is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, with degrees in Finance and Marketing. He serves as a member of Washington University’s Alumni Board of Governors, the Board of Directors for the United Way of Greater Saint Louis, the Alumni Board of St. Louis Priory School, and as a past president and member of the Olin Business School Alumni Board.
Managing Director, Development
Josh is responsible for the leadership of Altus development and construction activities.
Prior to joining Altus, Josh was the Chief Investment Officer of The Koman Group, where he was responsible for all development related activities including project procurement, entitlement, financing and delivery.
During his time at The Koman Group, Josh was directly involved in the development of many of St. Louis’ most notable projects with a total value in excess of half a billion dollars. Josh graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia, with dual Bachelor Degrees in Finance and Real Estate Investment.
